Custom built Black Box style control unit.
This is exclusively our design. We 3D print the housings, cut and machine the thermal plate. make the wire harness + assemble and test it all right here in Florida.

Main PCB Housing:
This housing is designed to seal out contaminates.

The aluminum outside Aluminum Thermal plate:
This flat surface is the heat dissipation system. Suitable for most as is. However it is designed so that it can be thermally bonded to the machine or to an exterior heat sink. Either method will increase cooling capability and thus allow for longer run times under heavy load. Ask us for more info.

Control head with Display, Speed, Reverse and Programing:
This assembly is 3.75" X 2.75" by 2" deep. It houses all controls. There is a slide lock door in the back that allows passing large electrical plugs than slide it closed. Again we recommend sealing this as a final step

Speed is programmable for any range between 300 to 3,500 RPM
Note: Settings are limited to 100 RPM intervals.

Motor programming + spindle speeds and Reverse:
The motor speed can be programmed to operate in any range chosen by the user.
Between 300 and 4,500 RPM's.
Note: Settings are limited to 100 RPM intervals.That means it can be set to 500 RPM but it cannot be set to 550 RPM as the next step is 600 RPM
The full range of speed (RPM's) can also be controlled with just the speed control knob.
Speed control programming only requires a few easy steps.
Reverse is simple, just hold the yellow button for a few seconds.
Programming includes the ability to set bottom and top RPM range separately. In other words you can program
the system to run the spindle at any speed or range of speeds you choose (see below).
Slowest speed achievable: Motor 100 RPM. (Below 300 is not recommended).
Highest speed: 3,500 RPM.
Soft start is programmable and will be set as soft as possible when you receive this motor. This program is very effective in reducing drive belt wear etc.
Braking strength is also programmable and will be set as low as possible. Personally I wish I could set it lower.
Self diagnostics with fault code chart and programming instructions.
Safe turn on system where the speed control knob must be in the full counter clockwise (stop) position when turned on. When turned on the self diagnostic system checks for faults and will not allow the motor to run until the speed control knob is turned all the way to stop first.
