The Grizzly versions look to have a couple different belt drives.
I need confirmation photos. I do have a few options here.

Spindle speed results in the test Harbor Freight Lathe:
Central Machinery 10 X 18.
Estimated ratio is 1.45 motor to 1.0 spindle.
Motor at 200 Spindle at 137 RPM.
Motor at 3,500 Spindle at 2,437
That puts the spindle RPM range at:
137 to 2,435 RPMs. just turn the nob.
Please make note:
I am not a wood lathe operator but the above pulley selection seams rather fast for a wood lathe. Especially when turning large stock over 9" O.D.
It is better to use below settings to reduce strain on the system when rapidly starting and stopping a large piece of heavy wood stock.
Proper set up will be to align the motor pulley with the largest pulley on the spindle.
Pulley on motor slides to align with lathe pulley positions. (reverse for closest to motor).
The system should be built at 2.25 rotations or more on the motor to each rotation on the lathe spindle.
Set lowest motor speed to 400 RPM. At 2.25 to 1 Spindle speed is 177 RPM.
Set highest possible motor speed to 3,500 RPM. At 2.25 to 1 Spindle speed is 1,555 RPM.
Set soft start P6 to 0
Set braking P8 to 1.
I will test this further when I get time to work on this system again.

A complete servo motor upgrade system as seen in images.
This is bolt on, pre programed (plug and play) ready to go.

A stand alone and end user programmable custom built
servo motor driver.
Includes: Overload protection, internal variable speed control.
Also has instant reverse + Power went out safty program.

A 3/16" thick mild steel motor mount adapter plate.
These are custom made here in USA.

The 4 rib pulley comes installed on the motor.
This will run your 3 rib OEM belt or support upgrading to a
4 rib belt. It comes pre set to align on the test lathe here.
You may have to adjust position just a bit.
Ask before you order:
if you have or want a different belt, we may have a solution.
The motor speed can be programmed to operate in any range:
Set the low speed and the top speed to limit to slow or too fast as you wish. Optionally set the speed to a fixed speed,
then quickely change the fixed speed to any speed you choose.

Motor speeds available are anywhere between 200 and 3,000 RPM's. Maybe higher. These can be adjusted as finely as every
10 RPM's

The full range of speed (RPM's) can also be controlled with just the speed control knob.
Just turn the knob even mid cut.

Speed control programming only requires a few easy steps.
Stop, press 2 buttons than select option. Up or down and set.

Reverse is simple just press the blue button.
Not only that, you can reverse while at speed.

Programming includes the ability to set bottom and top RPM range separately. In other words you can
program the system to run the spindle at any speed or range of speeds you choose (see below).
Slowest speed achievable: Motor 300 RPM.
Highest speed: 3,000 RPM. If you over clock, you do so at your own risk and warranty is void.

Soft start is programmable:
It will be pre set to what felt right on our test lathe. This program is very effective in reducing drive belt wear etc.

Braking strength is also programmable:
It will be pre set to what felt right on our test lathe. This way
the lathe stops in just a couple rotations when you turn it off.

Self diagnostics with fault code chart.
In case something goes wrong it will point you in the right
direction. Please contact me for support if you are not sure.

Safe turn on system: The speed control knob must be in the full counter clockwise (stop) position when turned on. When turned on the self diagnostic system checks for faults and will not allow the motor to turn on until the speed control knob is turned all the way to stop first.

Buyer pays return shipping.

Buyer provides tracking number that shows the item is in possession of the return shipping company before the 30 day time period runs out.

30 day time period starts when tracking shows original order as in possession of USPS.

Return must be shipped through USPS, UPS or FedEx.

Defective products are always returnable or refundable but will require documentation. Because people build their systems incorrectly: You will likely be required to show photos of your machine + The belt drive.
Maybe even the project still mounted in your machine. See warranty time limits as they are directly related to if a product to qualify as defective. Shipping is always refunded on defective products. You are required to provide proper documentation of said defect.

Shipping is not refundable simply because you changed your mind or the product does not fit. It is your responsibility to look up and or measure to insure proper fit and suitability for your intended use. If you are not sure, ask us. If we say it fits in an e-mail or text message and it does not; than we pay the shipping instead of you.

All items returned must be in like new and unused condition:
This includes original packaging.

Missing packaging will result in a restocking charge of up to 10%

Installed items will not be refunded or charged up to 50% to restore and resell as a refurbished unit.

Swapping out parts will result in no refunds, all warranty's voided and no new orders accepted.
Try honesty instead, we will be happy to assist and find a solution that keeps both of us happy.

Labor is buyers responsibility:
See details, what's covered and for how long etc below. Shipping both ways for all parts returned for warranty is the buyers responsibility. Parts returned will be inspected for unique identification mark and or abuse. If found to be abuse or missing the identity mark, no warranty exchange part will be provided and buyer will be required to pay shipping to get their parts back. Warranty exchange parts may or may not be new but instead refurbished or demos that I have from previous builds. Warranty starts on the day our records show the system as paid and not the date the item is actually received.

Servo Motor. - I will exchange a defective servo motor for up to 180 days. Buyer must return the motor + the control unit + the speed control switch for inspection and testing. Additionally original packaging such as Styrofoam package inserts must be used to return these parts.

Computer control unit. - I will exchange a defective control unit PCB for up to 90 days. Buyer must return the motor + the control unit + the speed control switch for inspection and testing. Additionally original packaging such as Styrofoam package inserts must be used to return these parts.

Improper instalation or abusive operation is not warrenty.
Note: Overclocking is considered abuse and may void warranty.
