The Custom Crafter Aluminum Mini Metal Lathe Head stock Spindle Bearing retainer.
We have made this available because of all the requests for both of our single speed bearing retainers. These tend to be used by those installing tapered roller bearings. However we recommend quality Timkin or Nacisealed bearings instead. 
 
We make 4 styles of bearing retainers:
This listing: Without jack shaft cut out.
It fits single speed shaft drive Chinese mini lathes.
With jack shaft cut out. Fits 2 speed mini lathes sold under US names like Harbor Freight and grizzly.
Custom fit to The Custom Crafter Servo Motor and Belt drive.
Bearing retainer with seal is discontinued.

This listing is for One of the Aluminum bearing retainers seen in photo one. 
These are custom machined by the Custom Crafter and to fit the single speed lathes listed above.
They can be used instead of the plastic retainers and on both sides of the spindle head.
I use them on both sides when I replace spindle bearings.
